Weirdo Ideas

I have had this weirdo idea brewing in my head for months of doing occasionally book reviews here on the blog. But every time I do, I get this crazy idea that you probably dont like to read what I read. Most of what I read are romances. Why? Because I like happy endings and entertaining reads, plus they frequently are free/cheap on Amazon. Since I received my third arm Kindle Fire, we have been inseparable. I am back to consuming 5-10 books a week. What can I say? I am a reader. I used to read only intellectually stimulating books, the classics, and fun Christian romances. Now, I have added secular romance, sometimes its graphic, which I am (being married and fully embracing birds and bees) okay with.

My instinct is always, you dont want to hear about trashy romances or really much of any romance. Book Clubs are for finding those amazing books that are the next Dickens (I hate Dickens by the way). But come on, lets be real 50 Shades of Grey (erotica) is a crazy bestselling hit. I am not a fan of the book and its portrayal of S & M, but I think there may be less of you shying away from romances than I thought. I personally am always looking for a great book. The BlogHer Book Club is looking very not helpful right now (who picks those books?!). Just maybe you wouldnt mind if I posted the occasional review. We might just try it out and tell me if you hate it, okay? I will only post things that I really enjoy and loved. I will aim for eclectic subject matter even if mostly romances. Promise.
